As Manager of Loss Prevention Programs, Gerrit is responsible for implementing and managing the preventive maintenance program of the Pacific Reach real estate portfolio. Gerrit has nearly three decades of experience in the development and implementation of fire and life safety programs and comprehensive multi-facility/multi-property maintenance management programs. Prior to joining Pacific Reach, Gerrit operated a private maintenance management business delivering specialized services to industrial, residential, and commercial key accounts. Before this venture, Gerrit spent 16 years with Nissan Motor Company of South Africa.

Azim is responsible for directing all business activities for Pacific Reach, which he co-founded in 2014. Azim has extensive experience in managing and overseeing investments in a variety of industries, including real estate, hospitality, healthcare, and technology. Azim is also responsible for driving the creative direction and strategy for Pacific Reach’s Hospitality and Entertainment Division. Specifically guiding the vision and design required to develop unique and vibrant venues that stand apart. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and winner of the Business in Vancouver Top 40 Under 40 Outstanding Achievement Award. Azim is a trained family physician and graduated as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) from the University of British Columbia.

Brodie is an Investment Associate at Pacific Reach, responsible for supporting the capital and real estate teams in evaluating public and private investment opportunities. He has over two years of capital markets experience in investment banking. Prior to Pacific Reach, Brodie worked at a global boutique investment bank focused on infrastructure and energy clients. Brodie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business.

Shehzad is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all project development and planning activities. Shehzad manages the entire municipal approval process and ensures that all key milestones are attained. Once construction commences he manages budgets and schedules. He also oversees the risk management process throughout each phase of a project. Shehzad is trained in Engineering, Accounting, Information Technology and Business Management.

Dan leads real estate investment activities at Pacific Reach including sourcing and execution of acquisition opportunities, asset management of commercial and residential properties, in addition to developing capital deployment strategies within the REIT universe. Dan brings 12 years of experience in real estate investments and has been directly involved in over $3.5 Billion in transactions across North America. Prior to Pacific Reach, Dan was a part of the development team of a prominent Canadian developer. He is a member of UDI, ULI, NAIOP, and the Gastown BIA. Dan graduated from the University of British Columbia, with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), specializing in Accounting and Real Estate.
